In flood insurance, “Association” usually refers to the Condominium Association. It is the entity made up of the unit owners that is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the condominium’s common elements (and certain other shared buildings or property where owners have use rights).
This matters because condominium flood insurance is often arranged through the association, especially when a building is insured under the Residential Condominium Building Association Policy (RCBAP).
